Why we offer Exion

Exion combines radiofrequency, microneedling and ultrasound in the one device, which is part of why we chose it. It means we are not limited to one technology or one area of the body. The same platform can be used across the face, the double chin, and areas of the body including the stomach, arms and thighs, so treatment can be tailored to what you actually need rather than fitting you into a single approach.

Exion works by delivering controlled energy to the treatment area, supporting the skin's natural collagen and hyaluronic acid production. Depending on the area and depth used, it can also be applied to target fat. Suitability depends on your skin, your goals, and a consultation with our team.

Why the technician matters

RF microneedling is technique dependent. The depth the needles are set to changes what the treatment is actually doing, and going below 2mm moves into fat tissue rather than skin, which requires a different level of clinical judgement and experience to do appropriately. This is not a treatment where any provider will deliver the same result.

Nurse Claire Koulos (Registered Nurse, Division 2, NMW0002186814) has a special interest in this technology and works within her own considered clinical parameters, which is why she does not go below 2mm. Every treatment plan is based on what is right for your skin and goals, discussed with you at consultation.
