Dr Chris Koulos
With nearly three decades of experience, Dr. Koulos has made a successful transition from Family Medicine to a focus on aesthetics and weight loss management. He is deeply passionate about establishing a stand-alone aesthetic practice and opened his doors in June 2015 with the vision of becoming a "Centre of Excellence".
Embodying a practice philosophy that emphasizes offering minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Koulos provides a comprehensive range of services, including cosmetic medical treatments, skin cancer checks and surgery, as well as various laser treatments such as facial rejuvenation, tattoo removal, and treatments for rosacea, hyperpigmentation, acne, and spider vein removal. Moreover, he specializes in non-invasive fat reduction and cellulite reduction treatments.
Dr. Koulos is known for his attention to detail, taking great pride in his work, and maintaining a close working relationship with his clients. He ensures that all treatments are preceded by a thorough consultation and that clients are given follow-up appointments after their treatment.
Claire Koulos
Practice Manager and Enrolled Nurse Claire brings a wealth of experience in Pharmaceutical and Medical Sales to Burnside Cosmetic. With over 20 years of national experience as a Medical Sales Representative for leading medical and dermatological companies, Claire's expertise contributes greatly to the clinic. She is driven by her desire to work alongside Dr. Chris and grow old doing something they love together.
As a mother of two adult children, a step-mother to two, and a pet parent to three rescue fur babies, Claire is a natural nurturer. Her life experience, combined with her academic background, allows her to offer comprehensive support to her clients. Claire holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology (1990) and an Honours Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (1992) from The University of Adelaide. She continually pursues self-development and finds joy in inspiring others to evolve. Recently, Claire completed her Diploma of Enrolled Nursing from Open Colleges (2018), further deepening her knowledge and enhancing her value to the clinic.
Claire's commitment lies in providing clients with exceptional service, knowledge, and a personalized treatment experience at Burnside Cosmetic. She is a skilled Dermal Therapist, Aesthetician, and Laser Technician.
